Music at the Lakeshore

On August 15th the girls and I went with my MIL to see the Dady Brothers. I have mentioned them before and they continue to be my favorite Irish musicians. When they perform, they are able to draw in all age groups and all types of people. Their ability to draw people, both young and old, into the music is wonderful, and they are simply funny. This was a free concert by the shore sponsored by Wegmans. There was a sea of people that just seemed to go on and on. I didn't take very many pictures as we were quite a ways back, but I did get a few pictures of the beach and things.

Well, I HAD some nice pictures! I am having serious problems with my camera and I seem to lose pictures on a fairly regular basis. I take the picture, I view the picture (in the camera), then I upload all the pictures, and some simply disappear! That is, when the camera doesn't decide to simply lock up and not take pictures at all!!! GRRRRR!

Anyway...the nice pictures I HAD from the concert are in the thumbnails in Adobe, but the files containing the pictures are gone! I guess the gremlins took them when they deleted the pics from the memory card! So I am sorry for the lack of pictures, but they really were neat. I had a couple of sailboats on the horizon on the lake, one of several Irish dancers getting ready to perform with their brightly colored costumes, and a couple of my girls dancing to the music. Hopefully you have a good imagination!

ARGGGGGG! Can't wait to get my hands on a Nikon D40! I am now officially saving (every penny I can) for one! Since photography has become a passion for me, I guess it's time to bring out the big guns and get the best camera I can in an amateur price range.

Well, since there was a good photo of the Dady Bros' faces, and I DO have a very good imagination, I can not only imagine their performance, but also the Irish dancer AND the sailboats! AND, I can even imagine the Nikon D-40!!!
WAIT! I can even imagine you GETTING one!!! Hang in there. Good things come to those who wait!
